And today we thought of showing you some of the most tempting spots and places with the most incredible views.

Four lovely viewpoints that are really worthwhile visiting.

[:]

Let’s start by going through the winding streets of Dalt Vila, Ibiza town’s old city. The idea is to go up towards Plaza de la Catedral (the cathedral square). On the way you’ll find some great viewpoints where you can enjoy wonderful views to Formentera, to La Marina, the leisure harbour of Marina Botafoch and to the whole city of Ibiza. But when you get to the top is where you’ll be able to enjoy the best views. An incredible spot full of Ibiza’s history and the best views!

Our second suggestion is very near Cala d’Hort beach, in San José. We’re talking about the famous Torre des Savinar (Es Savinar tower), also known as Cap des Jueu and Torre del Pirata (Pirate’s Tower). It’s one of those defense towers located at strategic spots all over Ibiza’s coast and that in the old days were used to watch the coming of pirates. For many people, including myself, is one of the most spectacular spots in Ibiza. On the edge of a high natural cliff and right in front of the islets of Es Vedrà and Es Vedranell. Also, very near you’ll find Atlantis, a beautiful old quarry, although the path to get there is very complicated. Only for the most adventurous. You have to go down all the way to the sea level. A place of beautifully carved rocks and a very unique seawater. Watch, it’s really complicated to go walking.

Another very well known place with spectacular views is Mirador de Cap Negret, in the north part of the San Antonio area. A very special place, far from the tourist crowds and bustle. Incredible sea views from the cliffs. Also, fantastic sunsets. And at only 10 minutes walking there are two lovely spots, Cala Gració beach and Punta Galera.

And the last place for today is another unusual spot for the tourist crowds. We’re talking about the highest mountain on the island of Ibiza, Sa Talaia, in San José. A 475 meters mountain over sea level. An incredible spot for enjoying the views of most parts of the island. Perfect for hiking lovers. A two hour walk. Highly recommended.

It is our intention from the blog of Ses Pitreras hotel to bring you every week the best suggestions so you you can fully enjoy the island of Ibiza.
