A quiet cove for fishermen and “boat houses”. The beach of Sa Caleta is located on the San José coasts, near the cove of Cala Jondal. It´s a small beach with clear waters and fine sand which is embedded between eroded rock formations, with a gentle incline and rocks.
Right next to the car park, there is a nice restaurant that serves a good paellas and seafood dishes.
Between Sa Caleta and Es Bol Nou, you will find an ancient Phoenician settlement from the 8th century BC. This archaeological site was included in the Ibiza’s World Heritage Site.
